How Angel Peterson Got His Name

I just read a GREAT book by Gary Paulsen (author of Hatchet). It is an autobiography and has stories about him and his friends when they were teen-agers. This book is hilarious.
If you are a guy, you will love this book! If you like funny stories, you will love this book!
Right now you can find it on the Junior Book Award shelf.

The Wish Master

Try this mystifying book. It's about a boy named Corby who goes to a place called Berry Hill for the summer. He meets a Boy named Buck who gets him in lots of trouble. When Buck tricks Corby into going on a hike in the forest Corby meets a creature of stone who is known as The Wish Master. Will this strange yet scary creature change Corby's life? -Titus Gamble

olive's ocean

This book is great. The girl gets tricked into liking a boy she has never met. This girl also brings a bottle of ocean water to her house. Read it and find out why. chassidy

Yolanda's Genius

This book was recommended to me by Mrs. Green. It's about a girl who moves with her mother and brother from the big city (Chicago) to the country. So far, she is a real fish out of water and has trouble making friends. There is also a good bit of foreshadowing, hints about what will happen next. For instance, her little brother is a very poor student but can play anything on his harmonica. I have a feeling something bad is about to happen to him. Stay tuned!
